i was super excited when i got a text from weezermonkey asking if i was available to go with her to a laker game. not only did that mean some rare one-on-one time with my dear friend, but i also hadn’t been to a laker game in years. in fact, i think the last one might have been that amazing night with the hub at kobe bryant’s final game before retirement…TEN YEARS AGO. dang.
it’s been so long that the arena’s had a name change - but it’ll always be staples center to me.
thanks to brother monkey, our seats were pretty damn fantastic.
i’d forgotten how much fun it was to see a laker game live.
and of course…the laker gurrrrrrrlz.
