ever heard of body rolling? well, until a couple of months ago, neither had i. the simplest explanation i can give you is that it's kind of like foam rolling on steroids. it involves this machine:
and you basically work every part of your body from the neck down while being coached by an instructor who tells you how to position yourself, guided by prompts from the machine. it's considered an equivalent to a low-impact workout because you burn a pretty fair amount of calories during the 45-minute session, and it offers a plethora of benefits including increased circulation, cellulite reduction, lymphatic detox and massage and the infrared light helps to reduce inflammation. all kinds of good stuff, and it's especially nice if you're sore after a workout (like i often am). it's oddly relaxing and slightly painful and makes you break a sweat when you aren't expecting it.
the whole family has tried it, although the old lady and i are probably the biggest fans. the bean likes it enough to come with us, but the guys didn't seem to share our enthusiasm.
