happy birthday, cocoa!

it's hard to believe that our little girl is already a year old!  seems like just yesterday that we were bringing her home for the first time:

she was so tiny, and we were all so excited to have a puppy in the house (despite the potty training fun).

she's notoriously difficult to photograph, because she can't seem to stay still for too long.  but she's super affectionate and loves to cuddle and be hugged and petted and loved.

and man, can she give some serious side eye.

we sure do love her, though, as crazy as she is.  she and teddy have brought a whole new energy into the house, and i can't imagine life without her.
